Hard To Sit Down Period

Defensa and "Loaca!"

After it had rained again on Saturday, we woke up on Sunday at stahlendem sunshine, but only at a temperature of 16 degrees. As with each of our stays in Buenos Aires it is compulsory to go to a Sunday on Calle Defensa and the Plaza Dorrego. Here you can buy antiques and other junk, actors and musicians to listen and watch. Some things have changed here now - fewer items and the tango shows of "El Indio" no longer existed. Moreover, it was exceptionally empty for the nice weather - probably because of the season - we are not really in the high season here. As you can see in the picture, we are also in Buenos Aires :-) represented

in the evening we then Milonga Loca! " Chalmers in the Club on Calle Vega Niceto driven - a beautiful, new location. Here the youth dance to classical Tango music. The dance level is very high - but it is danced wildly. This is comparable with the Milonga PraktikaX, Milonga8 and Villa Malcolm. By midnight it was then also full. So far we have heard here in Buenos Aires Tango Nuevo only as a Cortina in the streets or from music shops for tourists. Also, we were unable to find the current boom of tango and contact improvisation here somewhere - but Buenos Aires is indeed a very large city ...

Compitability Same Birthday

El Beso, Porteño y bailarín, National, and Soho Tango Nuevo Chique

On Tuesday evening, we started to dance in the "El Beso". The milonga starts already at 18 clock, end to 1 clock and was not so well attended. It played an exceptional number salsa, rock and even a Chacarera Tanda. The DJ put on quite chaotic and has not followed the usual rules governing the order of the music. During the 200 years celebration is being played in every Milonga Argentine national anthem, to which everyone stand up and sing along all the Argentines very proud. Shortly after 11 clock, we are then changed into more Porteño y bailarín, where, after midnight was a bit fuller. Here, too, was again played the national anthem. We are then driven back before the show dance by 2 clock back to the apartment. After we here in Buenos Aires travel a lot on foot and in the evening go much for dancing, the feet do but at some point felt ....

On Wednesday - the last Days of the 200 anniversary of the 9 de Julio - was then a state of emergency in Buenos Aires. All public transport was free today, and accordingly they were full too. A Ölsardine has more room in her box! On the 9 de Julio certainly had more than 1 million people crowded closely together on the road - that is not for us. We were there, but we are not there long endured.

evening we went back to National for milonga "Mi Refugio" down, which unfortunately took place the last time. We wanted to go to 1 clock to still go to another Milonga, but the organizer could not understand at all that we wanted to go before the live music. He had We're not talking about long and so we stayed still. The Sexteto Unitango was worth it too - who have played beautifully and the singer was great. As here in almost all milongas, it was just too loud.

On Thursday afternoon we were short in the new DNI Studio Bulnes in 1011, is under renovation where strong. The shop is here to become a lot bigger than it was in the old premises. Except Pablo and Dana now is not another teaching couple more from the "old guard" here in the DNI, which we had met in 2007. When we were back here in 2008, the first two couples have already not been there. After the DNI's visit, we have made a side trip to Club de Tango where you can buy everything about tango: Books, CDs, sheet music, posters, etc. - but has not changed much here since our last visit.

In the San Juan near the Rivadavia Thursday afternoon milonga is the "Nuevo Chique", which was then around 19 clock very well attended. The predominantly older dancers know each other well - we were probably the only non-Argentines to this milonga.

evening it was still in the Villa Malcolm, where we mitbekamen nor the last trains of the teaching of "Soho Tango," because this time our bus drove a much shorter distance than we knew, and we therefore almost 15 minutes arrived. There, mainly dance young people to classical music. Mario Bournissen asked us if we are not in next week's Milonga want to audition. We look forward ...

Sunderland Gricel

On Saturday evening we met up again with Oscar, Paola and their two children in the club Sunderland. Although we arrived only after 23 clock, yet no one was dancing and there were few people there. The first pair eventually began shortly before midnight to dance. One can see from the pictures that show during the dance so not to 2 clock was really full, as we know it dates from the other years.

As in some other milongas also, there are in Sunderland and also from a rock or Salsa Oscar and Paola Tanda and not only dance tango ...

on Sunday was announced after midday rain - in the evening it was so bad that we stayed in the apartment, after we had tried for almost an hour to get a taxi. We had a birthday invitation ... On TV we saw that flooded several streets and were closed because of flooding. This is something we have never experienced, but we already knew the stories and photos.

On Monday it was back to warm and the sun was out and be seen. We are driven to the center around noon to a little of the 200 anniversary of Argentina to participate and we were there not the only ... At the time when we were at the obelisk, there was just caravans of classic cars and vintage buses. They were dressed really well!

evening, we should still come to Gricel because there Deby wanted to celebrate her birthday. We are a 23 clock only got in because we had an invitation from her, and the seats were reserved. Here at the birthday table, we met then by Ricardo Luna Llena - that was a surprise. Since Tuesday is a holiday here is the Gricel was really full. But even in the Salon Canning is said to have been packed. After 3 clock, it has served us well and then we took the bus home. We'll see what we expect today in the city, as all public transport is free today ...

Super Automatic Invst Plan-rg Full Form

Niño Bien and Salon Canning

had on Thursday for the first time some "office stuff" and phone calls should be done before we went into the city. For the return trip we've taken the first time the train from Retiro, because our station is located by our apartment just 5 minutes walk. In the evening we met first with Deby, an American who has lived for about 6 years here in Buenos Aires and an interesting blog writes. She has an apartment in the 17th Floor near the Plaza Italia, and also rents two rooms. From the balcony, she has a great view the city. Here is a photo, shot at night by 22 clock. Later we moved together to the Niño Bien bus. So empty, we have never seen it there, although it later but even more crowded. As someone told us yesterday, it must have been the Thursday before that much emptier. In any event, we met again a few "old friends". By 3 clock most of the guests were already gone and we were well on their way home.

On Friday afternoon we drove back to the train 3 stops to Retiro - that's faster than the Subte. First we went to Bien Porteno and later went to Tango Moda in the Palacio Barolo, to see what they grad dress for tango have in stock. The 9 de Julio was frozen there over a long distance, and work for the 200 anniversary of Argentina, which started last night and to 25.5. go, was on its last legs.

evening we went to the salon Canning. We were a little too early there and therefore could watch Oscar Casas, in education before the milonga.

were up to the dancing show not long ago occupied all the tables, but later it was filled after all. Pre-cut had Demián Noelia García y Ernesto Balmaceda y Stella Soldera and Báez.

List Of What Is Taking Up Computer Memory

Buenos Aires in 2010 of 17 May to 9 June 7th

On Monday morning, 17 May 2010, it was - much too early for us - get rid of. Our flight to Frankfurt has started in Munich at 6:05 clock and we had to drive off shortly after 4 clock with us. Helga had not slept the night 2 hours, since, under our course on Sunday and still had to pack their bags ready. In Frankfurt we had 3-hour stay, until at last began the flight to Buenos Aires. Luckily, the ash cloud had made no bar in the works!

14 hours non-stop from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires are already quite a long time. By 19 clock local time we are then landed on time in Argentina without incident on the plane. We had has often Emergencies on the long haul!

In Buenos Aires we expected at the airport our taxi driver Nestor and Henriette, who drove us to our apartment. Actually, we wanted to go dancing yet, but we were too broke after the last hectic days in Munich without adequate sleep. We live this time in a very nice apartment in Colegiales next to Palermo Hollywood. Near here in 2004 and 2005 we lived in a tango hotel.

on Tuesday was our first purchase a SIM card for the phone to be and since we were already in the vicinity of several shoe stores, where we have also looked around the same time. In sunshine and 24 ° C had We then enjoyed near the obelisk a coffee and rush past us can roam .... wonderful!

evening we met with Oscar, Paola, Sofia and Franco to eat. Sofia even brought their dancing shoes, because they hoped we would all go after dinner for dancing. It was then but soon tired and fell asleep in the stroller from a Franco. Franco and his 1 1 / 2 years was against awake! After we had passed at 1.30 clock, we turned first to Porteño y bailarín to dance. It was surprisingly empty and at half past 3 almost all the dancers were gone. We drove back in our apartment - the first day in Buenos Aires now was already over.

On Wednesday we visited the next shoe shops where I could not resist. Since last year, a new shoe store: Taconeando, which I'm thrilled. Here are the results after 2 days of Buenos Aires in some shoe stores.

In the "La Nacional" there is some time since some milongas. We were there the last time in 2007 and shortly thereafter the Milonga was then closed for a long time. Meanwhile, there again, but some milongas established. Yesterday, we are certainly in the Milonga "Mi Refugio", organized driven by Atilio Veron. It was not full, but well attended. Some old friends we met there and Atilio welcomed us back warmly. Shortly after midnight
we then have changed to the "El Beso". Even there, it was not as full as we know it dates from the previous years. El Flaco Dani was also there. Meanwhile, he is concerned after his hip surgery better and can do this or that little dance again. But he is really fit yet! From 2 clock there was also noticeably empty and so we also made our way home. The 'end of the month' you realize the Portenos already in the middle of the month. You have to use their money to the end households of the month and can not therefore leave as much - if egeal in milongas, or to a restaurant for dinner. Admission prices to the milongas are about 20 pesos, which is enormous for the Portenos!
far we have always had luck with our taxi drivers: no one tried to walk with us down at night and everyone gave us the shortest way to our apartment.
