had lunch today we met with Vanina Pérez and Martín Bel. These are the two tango teacher PosTango from the group of Federico Naveira, Inés Muzzopappa and a few others. The two want to give workshops in Europe early next year and we've talked about it. They teach Tango de Salón, as it is danced here in the milongas. For dinner - there was Assado - we are in a small restaurant been here in the neighborhood. As much meat as we do here in the 5 weeks have eaten so far, we do not usually eat all year! But it is delicious ....
Every 1st Tuesday will TangoModa Jorge Arias of a party in his shop at the Palacio Barolo. This is where Argentines, but also people from other countries, such as customers, Tango and Milonga teachers operator. You talk with a glass of wine, there is a bite to eat - when the weather's a Assado on the terrace - and it is danced on the rooftop terrace. Today, however, it was so windy that few people wanted to dance there, but Jorge was not to keep it. From TangoModa out we went into a brief for Milonga Practica. There were a few people trying to dance milonga with a teacher who tried it, too.
then we are back in Canning. Julio Balmaceda had just finished his classes and started the milonga. It was very pleasant, as to 1.00 clock but not very many more people came and we could dance very well. Shortly after 2 clock then the orchestra played Sans Souci. They play traditional, classical tango. The show dance from El Flaco Dany, we have not seen - to 3 clock then we went to our apartment.
